Okay. I know I'm getting to this late in the day and I apologize. But the Brewers are already down 5-0. There goes a 500 season. We are losers. From the playoffs to losing season :(
I know it's a fine line in baseball and it's always tough. But come on guys. What happened? I think we're still the coolest team in the majors besides the team I created for Baseball All-Stars for Nintendo when I was 8 years old back in 1990. My guys would always make amazing plays- catching balls at the wall and sliding from halfway to the base. I think the most fun in any baseball game if you multiple runners on the bag is to get them all stealing and try to get the defensive player (if it's a real person) try and tag them out by throwing the ball around. Invariably- they'll make the mistake and throw to a base where there's no basemen. Maybe they've rectified that in the newfangled games, but in the old ones it was a surefire score.
The picture refers to us losing the Prince. If that happens it will be like if someone shoots Santa. Or if Favre played for the Vikings... oh wait.

I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but on days when we lose like that, my only recourse is to play MLB Power Pros on the Wii. My Prince has 82 home-runs, and Bill Hall has 76, and it is only June. They aren't even my team leaders--I've got Piazza behind the plate with 92 homers, and Griffey Jr.'s got 112. Speaking of whom, I'd be a little sad if this is Junior's last year. Call me sentimental, but that swing is still a thing of beauty.
