Wait a minute. Are we in a vortex of time travel where we always lose to the Giants 3-2. I know we are in a vortex of losing, but to the Giants as well? Come ON! I once had this boss who went to the movies a lot and he loved everymovie he saw. It didn't matter at all- no discerning taste whatsoever. He said he really liked Australia and understood how Hugh Jackman made the ladies go wild after the shower bucket scene. Anyway he said Deja Vu with Denzel was good but I never knew whether to believe him.

How awesome was that belly-flop double, that triple play, that performance after which wallpaper was made? Are we done for the season? Yes. Are we just gonna lay down and die? No. Those Brewers still got a little fight left. Enough for third place, I think. . . . Maybe enough for second if we can beat the Cubs a few games. . . .

Okay, so I watched today's game on the ol' TV, and I got the St. Louis announcers. I'll give Al Hrabosky props for having the coolest MLB nickname ever, but seriously, the guy is a grade-A douche. I don't know how many times during the telecast that he berated the Brewers for the shirt-untucking and especially the choreography at home plate. He even suggested that the Cardinals played so well today in part to punish the Brewers and put them in their place for those practices! This is the same guy who used to get pissed when Ryan Braun would be slow out of the box on a home run. Of course, when Pujols does it, or emphatically flips the bat, as he has a few times this week, it is "all part of the game." I effin' hate double standards!
